DSP Davinder Singh arrested by J&K police for transporting 3 Hizbul terrorists out of Kashmir in a car at Jammu-Srinagar highway.
DSP Davinder Singh who was arrested for transporting and giving protection for 3 Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists in his home, police found
an AK rifle and two pistols, according to sources.
According to Source, Davinder Singh was taking terrorists from Shopian to his home on Friday and had them stay at his home. The top Hizbul Mujahideen commander Naveed Babu and his 2 accomplices Irfan and Rafi, spent the night in the home right next to the Army’s 15 Corps Headquarters. They were planning to go to Delhi on Saturday but caught by J&K police.
Right now Singh is being interrogated as a terrorist by a joint team of security and intelligence agencies. Among the questions, they want answers to whether Singh’s visit to Delhi is linked to Republic Day, as it is just two weeks away.
Singh’s movements were tracked by the police since Friday morning. When he brought 3 terrorists to his home on Friday evening, policemen were who are disguised as normal people were watching him secretly.
Singh and the 3 terrorists left his home around 10 am on Saturday. When they were about 60 km from Srinagar, the police caught them all red-handed on the highway.
